Social Media (Wechat) Showcase: Bradelis New York (Chinese)
Bradelis New York is a Japanese luxury lingerie brand.
From September to December 2017, I worked in its social media department, creating textual and sometimes visual content for its WeChat and Weibo accounts. I also developed, co-directed and co-produced Bradelis’ first commercial, “Make Bradelis Step One of Your Day”, which was posted on Bradelis’ Weibo account and had approximately 4,800 views.
Below are some of the works I have done for Bradelis. Please note that all content is in simplified Chinese.
1. Bradelis New York – Blooming in the center of Soho. This is an article that introduces Bradelis’ flagship store in Soho, New York.
2. Hello, Flatiron! This article introduces to the readers the interesting stores in Flatiron district, New York; and Bradelis’ Madison store.
3. Make Bradelis Step One of Your Day. In this video project that promotes Bradelis’ Step One bra, I worked as the scriptwriter, co-director, and co-producer. This video was pinned to top on Bradelis’ Weibo account and had 4,773 views.

I have always loved documenting my thoughts and feelings while traveling. Most of the times, I like to share these among my friends on WeChat’s Moments, but sometimes I do write down longer journals on blogs.

I worked with Theatre Communications Group (TCG) from February to May 2017. During that internship, I worked in the Communications and Community Engagement Department and supported the director with promoting and marketing their Legacy Leaders of Color Video Project (LLCVP). I also had the chance to attend the screenings and record the events so that we could further promote the project after the events on social media.
Below are some samples of the gifs I made for Muriel Miguel’s screening event. This event took place on May 2, 2017 at La MaMa Theatre.
Social Media (Facebook) Showcase: Avenue 822
Since February 2017, I have been working as a production assistant with Avenue822, a travel video only website. While working with them, I have worn multiple hats: I monitored their Facebook account and updated it with Buffer; researched and updated their video database on Excel; and communicated with individual businesses to set up filming appointments and facilitate post-production outreach.

My friends always describe me as a “travelholic”. I have traveled to over 20 countries and regions independently and loved sharing pictures with my friends on my social media accounts, especially on WeChat. Therefore, in November 2016, a friend invited me to write several articles for her newly-founded travel-and-work company Zction Travel on WeChat.
Below are the articles I have written and edited for her. I was responsible for writing up and editing the posts. Currently these posts are only available in simplified Chinese.
